Micro-needling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a treatment that uses sterile fine, medical graded needles to create micro channels in the skin allowing skincare solution to penetrate deeper and allowing the skin to absorb it. This procedure creates micro injuries, triggering the skin to start its natural healing process to stimulate collagen and elastin to achieve skin firmness and youthfulness.
Micro-needling can be used to treat different types of skin concerns such as:
- Acne Scars- Fine line and Wrinkles
- Hyperpigmentation
- Large Pores
By completing a series of treatment and ongoing maintenance, skin will be more smoother, plumper and rejuvenated.

This treatment is a 90 minutes procedure.

- Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning and sun beds for minimum 2 weeks prior treatment
- Stop using active skincare (AHA’s, BHA & Retinoids) and exfoliating products for 7 days prior treatment
- Always wear SPF 50 during the day and if sun burn occurred please call us to reschedule your appointment
- Always keep skin well hydrated and moisturised
On the day of your appointment
- Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
- Stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water

- Do not wash face for 24 hours after treatment
- After 24 hours, use saline solution to cleanse the skin (this can be purchased from local pharmacy)
- Use gentle skincare products (focusing on repairing/calming/hydrating) to keep skin hydrated and moisturised
- Stop using active skincare for 7 days after treatment (Actives can be resumed after 7 days as normal)
- Protect skin from sun exposure, use SPF 50 during the day
- No intense exercise for 3 - 4 days after treatment
- Avoid using hot water for 3 - 4 days after treatment
- Barrier gel/creams can be applied to treatment area, if needed
